Noah Basketball x Sporta Japan Partnership
Sporta Japan is now the exclusive distributor of the Noah Basketball Pro System in Japan. In partnership with Noah Basketball, Sporta Japan is excited to offer this industry-leading shot tracking technology in Japan and ultimately grow the game of basketball.
Noah Basketball's proprietary shot tracking technology uses machine learning, the latest computer-vision technology and real-time analytics to measure a player’s shooting arc, left/right positioning and shot depth. After years of analyzing data from over 900 million shots tracked at all levels, Noah Basketball has developed the formula for the perfect shot. A perfect shot is straight with a 45-degree arc and 11” depth. Noah Basketball understands the science of shooting and helps players develop the perfect shot through the Noah system’s instant audio-feedback, allowing players to make real-time adjustments to build muscle memory and make more shots.
Noah's technology is trusted by NBA and WBNA teams, hundreds of college programs and elite academies across the United States.
“We are proud to bringing our transformative technology to Japan,” said John Carter, Noah Basketball and CEO. “We’ve seen the results the Noah system has on shooting and the game of basketball in the United States, and we’re excited to expand the game in Japan. We want players of all levels to make more shots and win more games through the Noah systems.”
The Noah system proven success helped Stephen Curry set a ±3-inch accuracy standard on every 3-pointer and holds to it every session with the Noah system. Reed Sheppard went from 32% to 52% from three at Kentucky, ranking #1 nationally, before being selected 3rd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft.
"We are truly honored to have secured the exclusive distribution rights for Noah Basketball in Japan. Noah is more than a measurement tool. It visualizes each player’s shot arc and accuracy in real time, enabling a new era of data-driven coaching. With Japanese basketball at an inflection point — fueled by the B.League’s growth and the national team’s rising global profile — we believe there has never been a better moment to introduce this technology to Japanese courts. At Sporta Japan, we are committed to partnering with teams to build a world-class shooting culture across Japan." — Yusuke Katoku, Founder & CEO, Sporta Japan Corporation.
Sporta Japan will handle all sales, implementation and support across Japan ensuring that every team can fully leverage Noah's technology to raise the standard of play.
